You captured the beauty, emotion, the fun that everyone felt, the love between Brigid and John, and you were able to do it without intruding on the event. Not an easy task. I ran a division for Ralph Lauren for many years and was in fashion, and owned a photography studio. I was astonished by the sneak preview. Congratulations to you and your associates.

WEDDING GUEST, THE DRISKILL
Jenn is a Cambridge University dropout who got her start shooting hard-hitting photojournalism. Her work has been published in the New York Times, US News & World Report, Marie Claire and 19 Magazine UK. She won a "Picture of the Year" award from the National Press Photographers Association for her portrait of an AIDS orphan in Mozambique. Jenn started shooting weddings as an antidote to her day job. Being surrounded by beauty made a welcome change from the gritty realism of photojournalism, and in 2001 she made weddings a full-time career. Her work is characterized by an unobtrusive intuitive sense for just the right moment. While Jenn's main focus at weddings is on people and moments, she also has an enduring love for bridal shoes! Jenn lives with her husband and business partner, Jim, in their Victorian home in Lockhart, Texas, with their two amazing kids, adopted from China. Jenn also has an awesome stepdaughter who is in Med School at Pitt. Jenn and Jim live in a perpetual state of restoration as they lovingly update both their 131-year-old "Painted Lady," and complete the remodel of their historic Studio on the square in Lockhart, built in 1900.
With a background in engineering and management consultancy, perhaps Jim is an unlikely wedding photographer. But truth, as they say, is stranger than fiction. Jim studied photography in college and when he met Jenn in 2006, he started assisting her on weekends to spend more time together. When they got married in 2008, Jim gave up corporate life and devoted himself to photography full time. He loves capturing parents' expressions as they watch the couple's first dance and Jim is also often asked for by name to put in brides' veils at weddings! Jim grew up on a family farm in Iowa and also spent a couple of years in Japan, so he's a pretty Zen guy, low key and patient. When he's not taking photographs, he turns his creativity to woodworking and meticulously restoring the Victorian home he shares with Jenn, and now also on their historic Studio on Lockhart's Main Square. Jim is proud to have a daughter in Medical School who is also serving in the U.S. military, and dotes on a couple of adorable kids he adopted with Jenn.

Nick's been working with us for over 10 years. He is an old-school gentleman who is punctual to the point of being early, and bit of a wedding junkie. You'll find him smiling obligingly when asked to take group shots on guest phones. He especially loves the high-stakes negotiation that takes place between a couple right before they cut the cake. Nick has a passion for the outdoors. He loves black-and-white landscape photography and camping but is also extremely tech savvy and speaks German. Nick manages the digital photo lab at St. Edward's University, and holds a degree in photocommunications from there. What can we say? Nick's the man.
Nicole started with us in 2012, bringing a vast knowledge of album design with her. She works closely with our couples and their families guiding them through the pre-wedding and-post production process. Nicole loves to help brides bring their ideas to life and has been known to obsess about the details. Whether you need digital files optimized for social media, would like to see your wedding published, or want an extra print for your grandmother, Nicole will take care of you. When she's not working with our clients, Nicole adores spending time with her two young children, and looks forward each year to hitting the beaches of South Carolina with her sweet family. Being a mom herself, she truly appreciates sharing the excitement that couples and families feel about their weddings. Everyone involved knows that these memories will last a lifetime and there's a kind of giddiness to it all that Nicole really enjoys. We heart Nicole!
Most of all, I remember... Jon proposed to me in Lake Como, Italy! He took me to Northern Italy because my family is from there. We started in Milan, Italy, and our plan was to work our way further north to Switzerland. But just four days into our trip we were in Lake Como, Italy, and Jon had reserved a private antique wooden boat for us to take around the Lake.
